HOW TO COMBINE OUR STRENGTHS IN NORTH AMERICA TO HAVE A COMPLETE AND EFFICIENT SEMICONDUCTOR ECOSYSTEM
Alan Renaudin
C2MI, CANADA

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted entire supply chains. Even today, the effects are still very much present, and the current geopolitical situation continues to exert strong pressure on the reshoring of the global supply chain. The market for electronic components and semiconductors is of particular concern because demand is growing, the number of producers is limited, and most of them are in Asia. While the United States is multiplying investments to encourage large companies to set up on its territory, Canada is also trying to position itself with the arrival of a strategic corridor such as the Bromont-Albany corridor.
